Artifact Donations

In a collaborative effort with Hammond Public Library, the Hammond Historical Society collects artifacts related to the history, both past and current, of Hammond Indiana. 

​

HHS's collections are located in the Suzanne G. Long Local History Room on the second floor of the Hammond Public Library.

If you are interested in donating, an artifact please contact us at 219-931-5100, prompt 5 or email us at contact@hammondhistoricalsociety.org

All donations must be accompanied by a completed Donation Form. This form can be accessed by clicking the Donation Form button below or requesting one in person in the local history room.

Monetary Donations

​

Monatory donations are used to further the educational goals of the Hammond Historical Society.  We are currently developing programs for the city's youth, publishing books and erecting markers at memorable historical places in the city of Hammond.
