About the event
Join the Hammond Historical Society for their monthly general meeting, featuring educational speakers and persons of local interest. Bishop Noll Institute, in conjunction with the Hammond Historical Society, will present a special event at 10 a.m. Sept. 7 at the Hammond Public Library.
During this special presentation, BNI historians will share stories they uncovered while exploring the school's historical archives to create a 100th anniversary documentary and history book. Attendees will learn more about how the sociological and geographical shifts that occurred from 1921-2021 here in Lake County and nationally rippled through the student culture at Bishop Noll.
At the end of the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and talk to the history book authors. Copies of the history book will be available for purchase for $65.
